Passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Dear father of Lorrie (Chris Derzekos), Steven (Loretta), Shelley (Scott Asselstine) and Tammy (Pete Prue). Proud grandfather of George (Abbie), Tasha, Eric (Danni), Samantha, Sydnee, Amber, Morgan (Luke), Josh, Hailey, Cole, and the late baby Carl. Great grandfather of Blaine and Sadie. Fondly remembered by his brothers Ronald (Phyllis) and Gerald (Elaine), sister-in-law Janice (Jack Smith) and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Carl will be held at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St, Odessa on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Reidville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque please) to the Cancer Society, L&A Hospital Foundation or Centreville United Church would be appreciated by the family in memory of Carl.
