Gord died peacefully at KGH surrounded by family and loved ones on August 9, 2017, in his 79th year. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Patricia McGregor and his children, Michael McGregor (Anne Marie), Christopher McGregor, Jordan McGregor (Angela) and Elizabeth McGregor (Preston). Predeceased by his son Steven McGregor and parents Melvin and Muriel McGregor. Cherished grandfather of Grayson, Ryker, Parker, Robert, Taryn, Breandan, Daniel, Tyler and Ryan and great grandfather of Peyton. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Patricia Flesch (Terry) and Roy McGregor (Lenora). Gord was one of a kind, a loving man with a passion for love and life. He will be remembered by all for his unrelenting willingness to help, his unforgettable sense of humor and unconditional love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Interment will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 2-5 p.m., at the Army Navy Airforce Club (ANAF), located at 317 Gore Road, Kingston. All are welcome and encouraged to come and celebrate Gord’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to UHKF (KGH Neurosurgery Centre) would be greatly appreciated.
