I have known Milt and Linda for over 50 years. Had many coffees with her. Went to dances with them. They bought the house from my husband and me in 1973. Have had a few glasses of wine with her also. Have many memories of Linda. She was a true and great friend. Will miss her. Loved her laugh and smile R.I.P God bless

Back in the very early days of Stock Transportation and well before then, Linda, Bev Morse and Liz White were travelling companions on many bus charters. As a dispatcher, these 3 ladies could regularly be counted on and were always up to the challenge, no matter where to. They would have transported generations of local kids to and from school over the years. Sending my condolences to Linda’s family.

I spent a lot of time with Linda working in the fairboard canteen and palace, she had the most wonderful smile and sense of humour. We also travelled together with Bev Harper on various trips. I will treasure those memories I am shocked and saddened that such a bright light has been taken. It was a pleasure to have known her.

If you grew up in Odessa in the 70s & 80s you know this idea of "community Mothering". It didn't matter if a woman was your biological Mom or not, everyone Mothered everyone's kids; feeding them, taking them in, putting boot to butts when we needed it. Linda was no exception. She drove many of us to school for years making sure we were all safe & took1qa pride in keeping order over us rowdies at the back. Linda hugged us when we needed it, & scolded us when we stepped outta line. She was on the Odessa Fair Board for years, a member of the Rebekahs Women's group, involved in the Upper Canada Car Club with Milt & ever present at community Church functions helping in the kitchen & any way she could. For well over 50 years, Linda, Mom (Kathleen), Milt & Dad (Garry) went to dances together, attended community gatherings, & car shows together. They filled my parent's home with friendship, love, laughter & support welcoming in grandchildren & extended family. For three days Linda & Dad were neighbours in CIU. I'd like to think they were keeping each other company & holding grace for one another. I feel honored to have known Linda. She was like a Mom to me & I will miss the Mothering that she loving gave not only to me, but my son Garrison. Rest well Mama Fredsburg. You'll always be close to my heart.

Linda joined the Rebekah's on March 15, 1968. She was a dedicated member of our order for 57 years and was very active, always willing to help out whenever asked. Linda was still attending our monthly meetings at the time of her passing. My sincerest condolences to Milt and her family. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her.

Sending love and hugs to Linda's family. Linda was a devoted volunteer driver with Senior's Outreach Services and then VON for almost 17 years. Linda loved her time with her clients and they loved her. Her loss will be felt greatly amongst all those of whom she served over the years and I know I myself will miss her an awful lot too. This picture was Linda getting her 15 year volunteer pin at our Volunteer Appreciate Event.

I remember the many times that we would stop by Milt and Linda's house on our way back to the city after being at my mother in laws place and we would knock on their door and Linda would greet us with her great smile and tell us to come in. We would sit and get caught up on their lives and ours. Linda was always the gracious host and offer us tea or coffee and snack depending on the time of day. They would call Willie and Ronalee when she was living that way to let them know we dropped by and they would pop by to see us. I miss those times as my mother in law passed years ago so we don't make the trip anymore. I will miss Linda with her great smile and laughter she was a great loving women. Our heart felt condolences to Milt, Willie, Ronaldo and their families gor the loss of such a great person. Love Dave, Marilyn & Brandon
