Obituary of T.J. Quinn

With broken hearts, the family of T.J. Quinn announces his sudden passing on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 40.

T.J. is deeply missed and forever loved by the love of his life, soulmate, best friend, and life partner, Sarah Newbury.

He will always be cherished and loved by his beloved “Maw,” Suzie Quinn (Smith), and his stepdad, Dave Traynor. He will be forever loved and missed by his brother Daniel Junior, and precious niece Danica.

T.J. was predeceased by his loving father, Dan Quinn, his grandparents, Joe and Ann Smith and Terry and Faye Quinn.

He will be fondly remembered and missed by his in-laws, Sherri Munroe and Jody Newbury, his sister-in-law Jenn Newbury, and his brother-in-law Dylan Newbury. T.J. will also be forever loved and remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

T.J. will always be remembered for his deep love of family and animals, especially his cherished fur babies, Mitsy, Marley, and Monty. He was a diehard fan of the Boston Bruins, and his passion for the game was undeniable.

His beautiful and infectious smile, his wit, delightful sense of humor, bright blue eyes, and signature dimples will forever live on in our hearts.

Our hearts are completely broken, and our lives will never be the same without you here. We love you so much, and we will miss you every day 'til we meet again.

A celebration of T.J.’s life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm., at the Collins Bay Legion - Br. 631 (4034 Bath Road, Kingston). Bring your stories of T.J. and wear your hockey colours. Bruins attire is always welcome!

For those who wish to make a donation in T.J.’s honor, contributions to the Kingston Humane Society or the Loyalist Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
