Obituary of Garry James Mack

Following a sudden illness, Garry (Joe) passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in his 81st year.  He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 57 years, Kathleen (née Crawford). Loving father of Sonia Crawford (Geoff) and Stephanie Mack, proud and caring grandfather of Bronwyn (Devin), Rowan and Garrison.  Brother of Fred Mack, Donna Brooks (late Carson) and Larry Mack (Rose). Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Garry is predeceased by his parents Jim and Iva Mack.

 

Garry was one not to sit still, he loved to share his passion of restoring antique cars and trucks, woodworking, collections of his models cars and trains, bird watching and all things Mack.

 

The family will receive friends and relatives at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 from 1-4 p.m., with a reception to follow at Emmanuel United Church. Inurnment will be held at Wilton Cemetery in the spring. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Upper Canada Antique Truck Club will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
