Obituary of Don Ley

Don’s family is heartbroken to announce his passing on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his loving family. Dear and loving husband of Ann (née Black) for 37 years. Cherished father of Murray (Jessica), Melissa (Dan) and Mackenzie (Bethany), and proud grandfather of Emerson and Alice. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Shirley Ley, his sister Evelyn Ley and father-in-law Murray Black. Dear brother of Gordon Ley and Janet Ley, son-in-law of Annetta and Jerry Pattenden and brother-in-law of Angie Black (Barry) and Bryan Black (Amanda). Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families, his CSC family, his Amherstview Jets family, and many other dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Wednesday, May 28^th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, 4080 Bath Road, Kingston on Thursday, May 29^th at 2 pm. A light reception will follow in the lower church hall.
