Obituary of Aafke van Ogtrop (de Kroon)

Aafke passed away suddenly at home in Odessa on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in her 78^th year. Caring and loving mother of Lisa van Ogtrop and Andrea van Ogtrop (fiancée Mitchell Smith). Aafke will also be lovingly remembered by her mother-in-law Hendrika van Ogtrop, sister-in-law Betty de Kroon and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ron van Ogtrop in 2006, her parents Hendrik and Pietrenella de Kroon, and siblings Joe de Kroon (late Johanna), Susan Mulder, Stuart de Kroon and Elizabeth Micallef (late Vincent).

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 12 to 2 pm. A reception will follow at the Odessa Fairgrounds Palace. Interment will be held in Lansdowne at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
