In loving memory of my Aunt Doris. As I think over my childhood, I think back to the times we had Christmas at Uncle Hugh's and Aunt Doris' farm in Centerville. In looking back those times felt like stepping into a scene from The Waltons. Aunt Doris was always good to me and I know she got a lot of laughs from the silly antics we did as kids. One treasure I hold close is the horse picture she gave me (I think it was given to me as a memory of Uncle Hugh) It was a picture of a young little girl in a yellow dress just like the one I wore, affectionately standing with the horse. That gift was so thoughtful and will always remind me of her kindness and love. Aunt Doris you will forever be in my heart. Janice (Wemp) Mason

Doris "never" forgave me for stealing one of her pies. I was helping Hugh with mowing hay and we had apple pie for lunch. Afterward while they were milking I left and took rest of pie with me. She couldn't figure out where it could have gone. Big cackle when I confessed.

Mrs Wemp was my grade 5-6 teacher at Desmond Public School , would have been probably 1955-1956 and I remember Hugh drove her as she didn’t have a drivers licence then and they always little Delores with them, they lived at Centreville then on McGill Street. I have very fond memories of Mrs Wemp then and always loved when I would meet different times later years, she was a very lovely and pleasant lady. Sincere condolences Delores and family. My maiden name was Anne Baker.
