Our deepest sympathies to Jarvis’s family and the countless people whose lives he touched in so many different ways. Ben held Jarvis in the highest esteem as a colleague and could count on him for anything, no matter the challenge. Jarvis also brightened our lives at home as he did our electrical work in our renovation. We actually looked forward to having work done so we could catch up with Jarvis and enjoy his quick sense of humour. We’ll miss him greatly.

Jarvis was a wonderful neighbour. He wouldn't hesitate to drop everything and come over to help Brad and I with anything that needed fixing. We will miss him tremendously. I will always remember sitting in the golf cart next to him exchanging stories.

In loving memory of my dear friend Jarvis.
You lit up every room the way only a true electrician could, with skill, laughter, and heart. Your sense of humor, your constant singing,(even if you didn't know all of the words) and the way you loved your boys with everything you had will never be forgotten. Thank you for the light you shared with all of us.
Rest easy brother.

I met Jarvis in 2011 when I began my apprenticeship. He was the most genuine person I have had the pleasure of meeting, working with, and learning from. He taught me more in our short time together than any other journeyman I've met throughout my career. His positive attitude, confidence, skills, and ability to troubleshoot anything will be deeply missed.
I can confidently say Jarvis loved you all so much as he occasionally lectured us on what a great job being a parent is even with the early morning practices and an overly full schedule. Jobsite treat drop-offs often included conversations about cattle and, family as well as inquiring about a larger size of cookie containers.
Sending our love and condolences,
Ryan and Julia Tinkess

We first met Jarvis when he visited Nova Scotia on a 4-H exchange trip. Our daughter Nancy also participated in 4-H. Their love of animals grew into a love for each other.
