Obituary of Sylvia Mitchell

It is with great sadness that the family of Sylvia Isobel Rose Mitchell, born in Toronto, Ontario, announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, July 27^th, 2025 at the age of 90.

 

Mum/Nana/Gigi is affectionately remembered by her children; Leslie and Sean Burrows, Lisa Rowe, Robert Rowe and Tammy Shane; grandchildren, Nick and Naz Burrows, Alan Burrows, Kyle Clifford, Cory Clifford, Callum and Meghan Rowe, Jessie Rowe, AJ Rowe, and Henry Rowe; great-grandchildren, Leo Burrows, Jordan Clifford, and Lukas Clifford; special family additions include; Sydney Alessi, Danielle Parker, Sabrina Cameron, and Merick Miller.

Mum enjoyed travelling, gardening, reading, and decorating. She appreciated the many years she worked for Canada Centre for Inland Waters as a secretary in Technical Operations. Sylvia often shared fond memories of the people she worked with there. Forever in our hearts. Cheers to SIR!
