Obituary of Jean Benjamin (Lloyd)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Benjamin on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Jean had recently moved to Alberta, but sadly passed away suddenly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, in her 87th year.

 

Jean will be greatly missed by many family and friends, always looking forward to her morning texts to say hello, the weather forecast for the day, and her nightly texts to say goodnight.

 

Jean will be lovingly remembered  and missed by her children Alan (Karen), Mary Ann (Bill), Tom, and Kevin (Michelle), her grandchildren Mark (Brandy), Lindsay, Adam, Doug (Melinda), Shelby (Jesse), Selina, Chelsey, Jessica (Eric), Coleby, Toni and Jordan (Taylor), and great grandchildren Carter, Gracie, Amy, Nick, Lucas, Lane, Ragnar, Tobias, Hannah, Leah and Thomas. Jean will also be dearly missed by her sister Shirley Benjamin (Harold) and her many nieces and nephews.

 

Jean was predeceased by her son Douglas Benjamin, her brother James Lloyd, her parents Thomas and Leena Lloyd, along with 3 angel great grandbabies.

 

A private family Graveside Service will be held at Wilton Cemetery at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a local Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
