Obituary of Bert Way

Following a brief illness, Bert passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at age 73. Predeceased by his loving wife Tammy (née Allen). Lovingly remembered by his daughter Stacey and son Tyler (Terri-Lynn), and by their mother Vera Way. Also lovingly remembered by Tammy’s children, Douglas (Tiffany), Troy, Tyler (Melissa), Philip and Tanisha. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Olivia, Emerson, Eleanora, Savannah, London, Kaiden, Tristin, Addison, Brooklyn, Claire, Wyatt, Elijah, Nik and Marcellus. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Theresa Way.

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In memory of Bert, donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) would be appreciated, in recognition of the outstanding care provided by the Doctors and Nurses at KHSC ER and ICU.
