Obituary of Lee Fraser

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lee (Harry Leroy) Fraser at home on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Lee will be sadly missed by his best friend and loving wife Mary Lou, son Jeff (Karlee), daughters Kim and Christina, and many grandchildren. Predeceased by son Robert. Lee was born in Belmont, Nova Scotia and raised in London, Ontario. It was at their beloved home in Moscow, Ontario where he learned to farm. Lee was involved with the Tamworth and District Lions Club for 35 years. He also enjoyed volunteering at Seniors Outreach Services in Napanee and Moscow United Church. Lee also dressed up as a clown and Santa Claus when required and as a garbage bag at the Centreville Fair when the Township began charging for bag tags. Lee received the Community Volunteer Award on December 30, 2000 from the Township of Stone Mills and the Senior Award of the Year after the age of 65 from the Township of Stone Mills. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at Moscow United Church (25 Huffman Road, Moscow) on Thursday, October 2^nd from 1-2 pm. Words of Remembrance will follow at 2 pm. A reception will follow at the Friends Meeting House. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Moscow United Church, the Gananoque & District Humane Society (85 County Road 32, Gananoque, Ontario K7G 2V3), or a charity of choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
