I first met Clayton when we were starting TESHA (Township of Earnestown Senior Hockey Association) in 1974. I couldn't help but take an instant liking to Clay.
When my occupational travel required me to step away from Tesha I knew under Clay's leadership the league was in good hands.
I wasn't surprised that Clay's intelligence and great personality spurred him on to much more important pursuits.
A great human, friend and family man. My friend, you will be missed.
