Obituary of Kenny Wales

In loving memory of Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Wales who passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 in his 72^nd year. Dear husband and best friend of Lois (née Yeomans) for 51 years and loving father of Jody Wales (Shauna) and Jennifer Martin (Ian). Proud Poppa of Dawson (Izzy), Brookelyn, Karleigh and Layton. Predeceased by his parents Viola and Bill Wales, his brother Glen and sister Doris. Survived by his sister Shirley Fairbanks (Gordon) and brothers Neil (Paulette), Murvin (Debbie) and Reg (Debbie). Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Marjorie Yeomans (late Howard), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.  Kenny is also deeply missed by his hunting buddies and their families and by his many friends.

Kenny was an adventurous spirit, known for his boundless love of the outdoors and his passion for hunting. Whether he was tracking game through the woods at sunrise or sharing stories around a card table, he found peace and joy in nature. A talented and dedicated craftsman, Kenny built a proud legacy in the art of cheese making at Harrowsmith Cheese Factory. His hard work, skill, and devotion to quality led to numerous awards and recognition. He was a remarkably skilled and resourceful man, with a natural talent for fixing, building, and working with his hands – especially when it came to farm equipment and anything agricultural. Kenny proudly spent his later years working alongside his beloved wife at Green Tractor, where he finished his career helping customers in the agricultural community he knew and loved so well.

A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held at the Best & Bash Arena (16 McPherson Dr., Napanee) on Thursday, October 30^th from 5-9 pm. A private family Interment will be held a Camden V Cemetery at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Greater Napanee Firefighter Toy Drive will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
