Harold Snider

Obituary of Harold Glen Snider

Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Harold passed away peacefully at AB Smith Homestead House on Monday, November 10, 2025, in his 62nd year surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his dear parents Rita (née Kelly) and Glen Snider. Proud and supportive father of Dillon, Jordan (Madison) and Cole (Meleia), and fondly remembered by their mother Tracy. Cherished grandfather of Brynley.

Harold was born in Kingston and grew up in Odessa on the family farm where many good times were shared with family and friends. Harold enjoyed his career with the Loyalist Township Roads Department, always speaking fondly of the crew. In more recent years Harold’s health declined but he took one day at a time and never complained. His sense of humour and his helping nature will be missed.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Friday, November 14th from 11 – 2 pm. Interment will follow at Wilton Cemetery. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to UHKF (AB Smith Homestead House) would be appreciated in his memory.

Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
