Obituary of Lillian Scouten (Brant)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian Mary Jeneane Scouten at Fairmount Home with family by her side on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in her 89^th year.

 

Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Virgil Miller Scouten. She is survived by her seven children, Sharon, Linda, Penney (Alan), Laurie, Kathy (Joe), David (Sandra) and Donald (Shelly); her granddaughters, Mary (Scott) and Danielle, grandsons, Michael (Jessica) and Jaydee (Shauna), and her great grandchildren, Holly, Nicholas, Emily, Asher, Harmony and Ryder.

 

A special thank you to the staff at Fairmount Home for their care, support and compassion during her stay. We especially want to thank our mother's "favorite one" who enjoyed her sense of humour, her wit, her stories, and for making sure her music was on and her door was never closed. You embraced and loved her for who she was and you all had a story to share. Also, special thanks to Pastor Heidi for cutting your trip short to visit "Lily" one last time.

 

At Lillian's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa. Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
