Dear Annie and Jennifer,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother Judy. May she be with Christ our Lord and saviour and reunited with your father as well in heaven.
I remember how kind and understanding Judy always was, she even came to my aide in the ER when I broke my arm as a teen.
My condolences to your huge loss, it’s hard to find words to say in such sorrow.
May she rest peacefully,
Kylie

Judy graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing of Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1968. Although our Alumnae has
officially folded, we remain in contact with each other and remember our members who are no longer with us.
Judy was small in stature and quiet in nature but her presence loomed large. She worked in the Emergency department at Hotel Dieu Hospital for almost three decades, and transferred to the Emergency department at Kingston General Hospital when the two sites amalgamated. She delivered kind and compassionate care to thousands of patients over that time period and probably never realized the impact that she had in their lives.
On behalf of all of St. Joseph's School of Nursing Alumnae members, I offer our condolences at this difficult time to Judy's family, her '68 classmates and her former nursing colleagues.
With sympathy,
Pat Murray ( Past President of St. Joseph's School of Nursing H.D.H.)

Please except our deepest condolences and may God bring you peace in the midst of your sorrow. I remember many years ago, I lost my dog and I was heartbroken. Judy came over to me after church, gave me a hug and handed me a small pouch. In that pouch was a small, smooth, silver, round stone with a paw and a halo stamped in it and it said "I will always be with you" That little gift was so precious to me and I will never forget it.
Judy was such a kind and beautiful person and will definitely be missed by so many people she touched with her kindness.

I am one of Judy's HDH classmates and also from KCVI high school days. We shared grade 12 homeroom together and some classes. Judy was kind enough to let me to copy her homework (fairly often) when I was in a jam! She was a good student.
We both shared a love of horses and would enjoy "talking horses " and racing.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Judy was as steady as a ship, tiny but mighty, a very lovely human being and I am so glad I had the opportunity to know her. Cathy Brownlee Cote
