Celebration of Life
Obituary of Lance Brown
It is with profound sadness that Lance’s family announce his passing at Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at age 69 after a long, courageous battle. Deeply missed by his loving partner Debbie Batchilder, his daughter Rhanda Brown (Aaron) and his son Alex Brown, step-children Ryan O’Neill (Julia) and Sarah O’Neill (Cohen), grandchildren Brady (Janelle), Van, Sophia and Lawrence, and great granddaughter Hensley. Dear brother of Larry Brown (Ann), Carla Rodgers (Hazen) and Margo Brown, and brother-in-law Bob Shannon.
Predeceased by his son Joshua, his parents Ella and Robert Brown, and sisters Alta and Bobbi. Lance is also lovingly remembered by the extended Batchilder family, his nieces and nephews, and long time family friend Chris.
Born in Saint John, NB., Lance served in the Canadian military for 42 years finishing his career in the Kingston area. The military didn’t make him but it shaped him to be the honorable man he was. The man was a boxer and shared his passions for fitness with the people around him.
