Obituary of Marion Rogers (Burt)

Passed away peacefully at AB Smith Homestead House with loving family by her side on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in her 72^nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Garnet Rogers and loving mother of Noel, Michelle (Stephen Grawberger), Langill (Andrew Crausen), Matthew (Joelle) and the late Mark Rogers. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brooke, Chantelle, Devan, Rachel, Lukas and Liam. Predeceased by her parents Don ‘Pete’ and Dora Burt (nèe Lemmon). Dear sister of John (late Roberta), the late Allen (Wendie), Madeleine Burt (Bob Green), Paul (late Sherry) and Melanie Babcock (Scott). Marion was also a dear sister-in-law, a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed by many loving friends. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at AB Smith Homestead House for the compassionate care they provided.
 

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to UHKF (AB Smith Homestead House) would be appreciated by the family. A Celebration of Marion’s Life will be held at the Lake on Saturday, June 20, 2026 beginning at 2 pm, with a Potluck at 5 pm.
