Dave and family,
We are so sorry to read of your loss. Dianne was a wonderful person who lit up every room she entered, especially classrooms. It was such a pleasure for me to know her, and to work with her. Her students loved her, and she in turn loved them.
May you find comfort and peace knowing that her spirit lives on in those she has left behind.
Sending our deepest sympathy, Sandra and Bill, Jacki and Kerri...the Hollywoods.

I came across this obituary on Facebook. Mrs. Gardner was my grade 4 teacher, 21 years ago, and I still remember her being one of my favourites! She was such a lovely and kind lady… I still have a hand written letter from her that she wrote to me after I moved to Ottawa from Amherstview. It’s interesting to remember only those who left an impression on you when thinking back to years ago.. she was definitely one of them. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her loved ones.

I met my sweet friend in kindergarten at Norwood District Public School when were around 5 years of age. I always loved her curly hair! We went through public school & onto Norwood District High School. I quit school in Grade 11 due to my disability. The world has lost a great lady but heaven gained an Angel! Soar high with the Angels my friend. You will be sorely missed by all who knew you & loved you.

Dianne welcomed Mark and I to the neighborhood in 2001. Her joy in life soon became apparent.
Always quick to see the humor jn situations, her contagious laughter filled a room. Children she taught never failed to call out 'hello Mrs. Gardner' as she sat on the porch. Dianne was one tough lady as she fought cancer over the years but she never complained just accepted what life threw at her and continued to smile. She will be missed by so many

Dear Dave, I will remember Dianne's warm & friendly smile and a few campground chats, mostly while still riding our golfcarts. There was always a welcome, whether at your campsite or at church, where we all attended for a time. To the Gardner family, please accept my deepest sympathy.
