Obituary of Ron Pawlik

In loving memory of John Ronald Pawlik. Ron passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Monday, June 29, 2026, in his 84^th year. Beloved husband of Faye Pawlik (nèe McKinney) for 56 years. Cherished  and proud father of Jason (Alison) and loving grandfather of Nathan. Ron was predeceased by his parents John and Edna Pawlik.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ron graduated in 1969 from the University of Toronto - Physical Education. After teaching at Neil McNeil High School in Scarborough for four years, the family moved to Tamworth where he began his next teaching chapter at North Addington Education Centre in Cloyne. He retired in 1999 as a highly respected and dedicated teacher. Ron will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.

 

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ron’s life will happen at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to a charity of choice will be remembered with appreciation by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
