We were saddened to hear of the passing of Robert Gaudet. Although we never met, we offer you, his parents, brother, wife and daughter and his extended family and friends our sincere condolences.

BROTHER.... Not by blood, but by choice. A brother in arms, and a dear friend of 34 years. Through all of the great times, and the bad... A unique and special bond, worn, but unbroken. 34 years...
I met Rob in kindergarten, he had graciously offered me some pretzel sticks during snack time. We sat there laughing and pretended to smoke those things like a couple of bosses. The spark of a life long friendship. We grew up together, shaped each other, played until the sun went down & later in life until the sun came back up! You will be sorely missed. I will miss your big smile, your big personality and your even bigger bear hugs... with so many years of friendship it feels like a part of me has also died, and in a way a part of you lives on. You will NOT be forgotten, Rest in peace, my BROTHER. Love you.

Robert will be remembered by me as this fun, kid who loved to laugh. He had the best smiles and laugh. I kept these baseball cards from his childhood in my memory box because he will always be a big part of my childhood and life.

You will always be remembered by those who loved you, you were one of a kind, od like to dedicate this poem to you. You had an extraordinary life and you lit up any room you walked into. Goodbye my dear friend.
The Dash

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning...to the end. He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not how much we own, the cars... the house... the cash.
What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard; are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged.
To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile... remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read, with your life's actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?

My condolences to his family and friends.
My favorite memory of Rob would be during the 2006 military coop program. He was a great guy to be around with and always tried to include me in activities. He was a good solider who exceled and willing to help others excel.

My deepest condolences to the Gaudet Family and all Robs friends.
Rob was always the life of the party, the one to make you laugh, have your back, drop everything to help you kind of guy. He was someone you wanted to be friends with. I met Rob in grade 10. Back then (and still) we called him Army Rob, from after school, to the beach partys he was always showing off his new skills or tools or set ups. Rob was nice to everyone, and was one of the kindest people I have met. He was always willing to lend a hand or help out, usually without even being asked. Hes helped me many times, and ill forever be greatful to of known you buddy

I will miss running into Robert every so often, with his large smile. He was such a good respectful young man. He always took the time to talk and laugh with us every time we saw him. I would tease him each time about whether he was eating his whole wheat bread, like I have for years. Lol! Rest In Peace Robert
