Ron passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Donna (née Kennedy) for 66 years. Dear father of Richard Horton, Nancy Bouwma (Andrew), Lisa Walker (Keith) and Tim Horton. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Cory, Wendy, Tim, Alana and Bradley. Also missed by 6 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Virginia Badour (late Ron), brothers Jerry (Earla) and Tony (Colleen), and sister-in-law Joyce Sears (late Earl). Predeceased by his sister Sandra and brothers Stan and Wayne. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Odessa Free Methodist Church (78 Main St., Odessa) on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10 – 12 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 pm. Reception to follow with Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Odessa Free Methodist Church or Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre in memory of Ron.
