(Revell Ford Lincoln)

The family of Harry Maxwell Davis Revell of Verona, Ontario and more recently Kingston, Ontario is saddened to announce his passing on December 5, 2023 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. He was 96.

Harry was predeceased by the love of his life Betty Revell (nee Aylesworth); brother Glen Revell and his wife Elda; and grandson Craig Revell. Surviving family include siblings: Ruth Babcock (Bud) of Oshawa ; Gwen Grant (Floyd) of Verona; Lynn Revell (Debby) of Kingston; and his children and their spouses;  Al Revell (Judy) of Kingston; Larry Revell (Tracy) of Verona; and Janice Bastian (Robert) of Downers Grove, Illinois. In addition, he leaves behind his grandchildren: Brad Revell (Jen), Nathan Revell (Alex), Joshua Revell (Nicole), Zachary Bastian (Lisa), and Charis Ellis (Ben), and twelve great-grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Harry became fond of Ford vehicles at a young age and that continued for the rest of his life. Up until his recent stay in the hospital, his favourite outside activity was being picked up by one of his sons or grandsons at Kingsbridge Retirement Community and driven to his dealership where he would visit with the staff.

Harry was a man of deep Christian faith, a devoted churchman, with unshakable integrity. He was a patient and kind man with a good sense of humour. The family will miss his gentle eyes, hearty laugh, and loving nature.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Verona Free Methodist Church with Interment immediately following at the Verona Cemetery.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Kingsbridge Retirement Community second floor nurses, personal service workers, and other staff and Dr. Porter for their kindness and assistance to their father in his final years. They also extend deep appreciation to the doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and PSWs on Kidd 3 who took such good care of their father in his last month of life.

Donations may be made in Harry’s memory to the Verona Free Methodist Church where he was a member for most of his life.

Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa. Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
