Hey Kath:
Kathy and I met when she was in Gr. 9 and I was in Grade 10. My parents had moved the family to Amherstview and on my first day of "riding the bus" with Bob, our driver, I met this outgoing, friendly and fun-loving girl...that's you Kathy!!! We became fast friends and stayed that way for 50 years!!!
Overtime, Kathy and her parents, Donald and Margaret Fowler, took me skidooing, to Florida and camping in their trailer. It was the best of times!!! Kathy and I were also involved in the Youth Group at the Presbyterian Church in Amherstview and were part of the choir. Kathy had a fantastic singing voice and loved country music. She was also a Girl Guide in those days...got her Gold Cord and volunteered with Guides.
As adults, Kathy and her mother introduced me to Royal Doulton Figurines and gibbard furniture. We would go antiquing, to auctions and yard sales...always looking for a bargain.
Kathy also introduced me to Black Friday shopping in the U.S....with Heather...and many other friends over the years. She was a real leader and organizer. Over time, Kathy and I went our separate ways but, I followed her and was heart broken to read of her passing. Kathy...Thank You for your friendship. Deborah

Kathy had her fair share of misfortunes, issues and problems but she was always very positive and optimistic as she loved life to the fullest. She was the life of the party.
