Obituary of Wayne Gibson Cuthill

It is with heavy hearts that Wayne’s family announce his passing at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in his 71st year. Loving husband of Pat (née Hughes) for 44 years. Cherished and loving father of Jacki (Brandon), Stephanie (Ryan), Dan (Cassidy) and Brittany (Drew), and proud grandfather of Colton, William, Mason, Caleb, Isla, Reid, Emery, Bria, Olivia, Knoxx and Laney. Dear son of Doris and the late Howard Cuthill and brother of Gord Cuthill (Diane), Gail McCullough (Don), Suzanne Uens (Simo Popovic), Jeanne Collins (Frank), Robert Cuthill (Lisa), Lori Jackson (Mike) and Lisa Kent (Lance). Son-in-law of the late Vivian and Bill Hughes and brother-in-law of Nancy Connor (Dave) and David Hughes (Michelle). Wayne will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families and by many cousins and extended family members.

 

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Napanee (336 Dundas St. W.) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11 am. A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will follow at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa from 1-3 pm.

 

For those desiring, memorial donations to the L&A Hospital Foundation (Acute Care) will be remembered with appreciation by the family. Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
