HENSHAW: Gordon James
Suddenly at home in his 64th year. Gord (Santa) brightened the lives of young and old alike with the holiday spirit year- round by counting down the days until Christmas for adults and handing out candy to good little children, no matter where he happened to be. He made friends everywhere, whether working as a talented mechanic or cracking jokes among his fellow leisure campers. His light and laughter will be missed by so many, especially his wife of 40 years Margaret, his children Ruth and Charlie and his grandchildren Olivia and Noah. Gord is loved and remembered by his brothers Nick(wife Pat), Tim (wife Jane) and his sister Martha (husband Jim) and their families. Friends are welcome to celebrate his life at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Main St. Odessa 613-386-7373 on Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday June 30th at 11am in the funeral home.
