Glendon was an active member of Athena Odd Fellow Lodge # 306 for many, many years. I remember working with Glendon at the bingos we held at the Golden Links Hall.
Glendon and Laurena came to all our dances and hardly sat down. It was obvious that they truly loved to dance.
He was a kind, quiet gentleman and we are very glad to have know him.
Our most sincerest sympathy to Laurena and her family.

Glendon was one of the first people who welcomed us to the area when we moved down the road from him years ago. He was someone who we could call for advice or help with our farm's livestock and would show up at a minute's notice. The summer my husband broke his hip, Glendon and his son-in-law Tom did all our hay and hauled it to the barn for us. When he was out for a drive, if he saw us outside he would stop in for a short visit, just to make sure we were doing okay. He was a great man and a wonderful neighbour and will be missed by many. Thoughts are with Mrs. Redden, Marlene, Tom, Sarah, Justin, Easton, Sidney, and the rest of the family.

We offer our sincere condolences to Laurena and the whole family. Many years of family gatherings, chats and stories at weddings, showers, restaurants and any time running into each other out and around, always brought many smiles and memories. Eldon especially loved talking tractors and engines with him. Glendon was a great cousin and friend for many years. Hugs and prayers for strength during this tough time.
