With our deepest sorrow we, Johanna’s family, have to announce her passing on Friday June 6, 2014 at the Helen Henderson Care Centre, Amherstview. Johanna Kroes (nee Vanstrien) beloved wife and best friend to Bill Kroes. Much loved mother to John (Diane); Loretta (Danny); Peggy (Warren); Josh (Beth); Jack (Laurie) and Bob (Lori). Pre-deceased by 2 sons Peter and Victor and daughter Miriam and her grandson Billy. Lovingly remembered by all her grandchildren and great grandchildren . Survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Pre-deceased by 6 siblings. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 178 Main St., Odessa, on Sunday June 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday June 9 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3 Briscoe St., Amherstview at 11 am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Odessa. Memoriam donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre.
