I miss my gentle "neighbour opposite". I became very fond of Ann, even though we rarely saw each other; both of us rather private & independent. She always thanked politely but refused help from me - except just once when I said I was going to Pan Chancho & perhaps she would like a little treat from there. Finally she accepted & enjoyed - a custard tart I think!
