Obituary of Norma Thompson (Sweet)

Passed away peacefully at home in Napanee with her loving family by her side on Friday, December 6, 2024, in her 84^th year. Beloved wife of Arthur Thompson for 65 years. Dear mother of Caroline Thompson (Stephenie La Maina), fondly remembered by Allen Larabie. Survived by her brother Delmar Sweet (Shirley) and sister Ann Sutherland (Sandy). Predeceased by her infant daughters Jennette, Michelle and Lisa, and by her siblings Lewis (late Irene), Ray (Lona), Irene Abbott (late William), Meryl, Gary (Catherine), Steven (late Sharon), Eleanor Sedore (late Gary) and Shirley. Remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 12-2 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm. Interment Newburgh Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
