Obituary of Marcia MacCrimmon
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our much loved sister and aunt, Marcia on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Trillium Long Term Care in Kingston. Marcia is now resting pain free and has reunited with her soul mate Jim Blair. Marcia will be greatly missed and is survived by her brother Stuart, sister-in-law Pam, and much loved nephew Bruce. Also remembered by her brother David (Lise), sister Judy Kiar (Fred), sister-in-law Gloria, and many nieces and nephews. Marcia was predeceased by her mother Freda, her aunt Phyllis Myers, and brothers Michael and Greg.
Marcia loved playing bingo, shopping, and most importantly visiting with friends in their retirement homes. Marcia loved to knit, she made many blankets that were distributed to the homeless for warmth. Marcia never let her limitations stop her from caring for others. She will be missed by many friends.
Fly High with the Angels Marcia!
We would like to thank all the many agencies that provided home care to Marcia over the years and to Trillium Long Term Care Home staff and residents for welcoming and caring for Marcia in the recent months. As per Marcia’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa. Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
