(Sept. 22, 1920 – Jan. 16, 2017) The family of Alexander (Rick) Watson announce the passing of an amazing man. Alex, the eldest son of John and Agnes was born in Carfin, Scotland. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 74 years, Helen, daughters Gloria Finnbogason (Ken) of Winnipeg and Barbara Stein (Rolf) of Napanee, 5 grandchildren Shari Finnbogason of Teulon, Thor Finnbogason (Christine) of Winnipeg, Derrick Stein (Lisa) of Ajax, Terry Stein (Kelly) of Yellowknife and Chris Stein (Jenn) of Napanee, 6 great grandchildren as well as his sister Sarah Hann of Oshawa and several nieces, nephews and friends. The family wish to extend a warm Thank you to the staff of Trillium Center for their caring support. A Graveside Service will be held at Wilmer Cemetery (5253 McFadden Road, Perth Road Village) on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations by cheque please to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
