COLGAN: Evelyn Claire (McCabe)
Evelyn Claire Colgan in her 93rd year passed peacefully on May 4th 2014. Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Clara McCabe, her husband Thomas Emmett and her companion Albert White. Claire leaves behind her beloved daughter Karen and grandchildren Devin, Colin and Katie and their father David Knowles. The youngest of five children Claire is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as she rejoins her siblings, George, Eileen(Dean), Jean(Doherty) and Jack. Claire to her friends and family will be remembered as a compassionate, wise and quirky woman with an unparalleled capacity for love. In honouring her wishes there will be no funeral service but friends and family are welcome to drop in Sunday, May 11th 2014 from 1 – 4pm at 217 Bath Rd., Apt. 203 to share memories and toast a life well lived. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Claire’s memory and can be placed through the Paul G.
