KINNEY: James Robert (Ret. LCol James Robert Kinney of the Kingston Prince of Wales Own Regiment) Passed away at the age of 85, Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa. James Kinney, the dynamic, incredible and intelligent man, beloved husband of Constance Jones for 12 years will always be remembered. Pre-deceased by his first wife of 47 years Rebecca Brittain. Fondly remembered and loved by his children James B. Kinney (Melanie) and Jean E. Steffensen (Gia). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Lauren, Jordan and Gabriel Kinney, Karla (Joey) and Britt (Les) Steffensen. A private family graveside service will be held at The Cherry Valley Cemetery, Picton. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital directly or through the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Main St., Odessa, 613-386-7373 . The family would like to thank the staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital, the Ottawa General Hospital and especially the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital (Palliative Care Unit).
