Entered into rest peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday December 22nd, 2013, Edith Acres in her 86th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Robert John ‘Bob’ Blackstock. Lovingly remembered by her children Diana Groth (Frank), Dr. Robert (Kathy), John (Shelley), James (Yvonne), Jeffrey (Debbie), Brian, her 15 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Helen McCarthy. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Main St., Odessa 613-386-7373 on Friday the 27th of December from 2-4PM. A private family interment will take place in St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Camden East. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
