Obituary of Robert C. O'Donnell

O’DONNELL: Robert Clarke The death of Robert Clarke O’Donnell of Kingston, On.,beloved husband of Mary Agnes (Betts) O’Donnell of Kingston for 65 years occurred on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Kingston General Hospital. Born Oct., 11, 1927 in New Bandon, N.B. son of the late Chester & Hilda (Lyons) O’Donnell. He was an active member of the Bay Park Baptist Church, Kingston, On., having served 27 years in the Canadian Forces in Korea, Germany & Canada. He drove bus for Travelways, highway coach and school bus. He is survived by his three sons, Sherman of Kingston,On., Mervyn of Houston B.C. & Kenneth of Ottawa, On. two daughters, Teresa (Mario) Gaulin, of Germany & Joyce (Jerry) Newson, Oshawa, ON. Always enjoyed his 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by three sisters Mary, Ellen & Judy and 2 brothers McKenzie & Herbie, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers Percy, Chester, Wilfred & Kay. The family will receive friends at Bay Park Baptist Church (775 Progress Ave., Kingston 389-2920)on Thursday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am with Rev. P. Gazdik officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Bethany Kids.
