Peacefully at her home on Amherst Island on Sunday September 22, 2013 surrounded with the love of her family. Susan McGinn (nee Gibson) in her 83rd year beloved wife of the late Arthur McGinn. Loving mother of Bonnie; Andrew (Mary); Russell (Jane); Cheryl (Miles); Gail; and Dan (Glenda). Pre-deceased by one son William and two daughters Grace and Dale. Little “Gram” will be fondly missed by all her grand, great and great -great grandchildren. Dear sister to Cora McGinn (Keith); Wade (Marilyn) ; Hazel deHann and Marion. Pre-deceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Special thanks to St. Elizabeth Nursing Service especially Dawn Maracle; The Nursing Staff of Can Care; Judy Grier of Hospice and Dr. Hans Westenberg. The family will receive friends at The Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, on Wednesday September 25, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Amherst Island. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations (By Cheque Only) to The Alzheimers Assoc.
