Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Wednesday morning, March 1, 2017. Johannes Pieter Dubbelman, of Owen Sound and formerly of Odessa, at age 68. Devoted partner of Diane Cook (nee Hunking). Loving father of Yvonne Dubbelman and stepfather of Karyn Cook, Kevin Cook and Krista Walters. Proud grandfather of Cole, Morgan and Katie. Dear brother of Loretta (Dan), Peggy (Warren), Josh (Beth), Jack (Laurie) and Bob (Lori). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Johanna Kroes and by his siblings, Peter, Victor and Miriam. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Sunday, March 5th from 1-4 p.m., and on Monday, March 6th from 10-11 a.m. Liturgy of the Word will follow in the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Odessa.
