Peacefully at the Village Green Nursing Home in Selby on Monday, July 25, 2016, at age 90. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Hooper) for 66 years. Loving father of Paul and his wife Bonnie of Morven and the late Nelson and his wife Brenda of Fonthill. Cherished grandfather of Anna (Justin), Katherine, David and Geoffrey (Emilee). Predeceased by his brother Blake and survived by his sister-in-law Evelyn. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Box 324 - 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Morven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations by cheque to the Cancer Society, L&A Hospital Foundation or Morven United Church would be appreciated by the family.
