Obituary of Elda B. Revell

(May 15, 1926 – June 8, 2016)

On June 8th Elda passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by Glen, her husband of 67 years. Loving mother of Glenda Paquette, Dale Revell (Jane) and Sandy Babcock (Chet). Caring grandmother of Andrea Hyde (Andrew), Mike Paquette (Jennie), Cindy Washburn (Chris), Matt Revell (Wendy) and Jeff Babcock (Sheree). Great grandmother of Owen and Lucy Hyde, Isaiah, Macie and Eden Paquette, Lauren, Luke and Will Washburn, Sierra Lee (Ryan), Sebastian Fulbright, Skylar Revell, Anna and Reid Babcock. Sister of Audrey Newcombe (Carmen), Earl Sears(Joyce), Eldon Sears (Joy), aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son-in-law Chuck Paquette and sisters Velma Ball and June Caswell. Elda lived by the verse: “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” (Hebrews 13:2). Her home welcomed all who came to the door. Elda was the founder of Glynelda fashions in Verona, operating from 1974 – 1994. She attended Bay Park Baptist Church (Progress Ave., Kingston) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. To celebrate her life, the service will take place at Bay Park on Thursday the 16th at 11am with Rev. P. Gazdik officiating. Interment in Verona Cemetery at 2:00pm.
