I was so saddened to hear of my amazing neighbour's passing. To the family, I was in the United States and didn't return and find out until late Monday evening, otherwise I would have been honoured to be present at his service.
Everyday Zeke always had a wave and a smile and would yell across traffic asking how I was doing or him and Maria would always wave when they were pulling out of the driveway. I will miss these things as I'm sure all of you will miss him terribly.
If there's anything I can do for the family, just come on over across the road.

Zeke was a my bus driver when I was very young and I have very fond memories of him. He was always smiling and friendly to me and would sing along to the songs on the radio. He touched the lives of so many children at a very critical point in their lives. I have so much respect for this man who picked me up and got me home safely every day. My thoughts are with the family.

RIP Zeke, the best bus driver! Rob & Trudi loved Zeke, and almost always came home with a lollipop. Until recently when seeing Zeke in a store, he would always say " hello Mrs. Baker", and the kids rode on the bus with him over 35 years ago! He was a true gentleman.

I was so sad to see this. Zeke was always our favorite bus driver. He always took time to talk to us every day. And when he seen us out and about he always said hi. He was such a sweet man.

Zeke the bus driver. I still talk about him to this day; telling my daughter how wonderful he was. Always said 'hi' and 'bye', would play whatever cassettes on the speakers for us to listen to on the way to ESS and drive over the train tracks at top speed. He was a very special man. I am so sorry for his family's loss, and the community.
