Obituary of Joan Beverely MacKay (nee Sams)

Peacefully at the L&A County General Hospital with her family at her side on Thursday, September 14, 2017, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Dennis MacKay. Loving mother of Lydia MacKay (Ray Dabuzinskas) of Cobourg and Alberta MacKay (John Lees) of Chilliwack. Cherished grandmother of Tara, Sam and Ian. Dear sister of Raymond Sams (late Mary) of Bath and George Sams (Kerrie) of Bath. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Service in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 12 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service. Cremation to follow with interment at Bath United Church Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to Hospice L&A or the OSPCA (Napanee Branch) would be appreciated by the family.
