Well the time has come to say Good bye to an amazing man and hello to an even more amazing Angel....I never usually express my heart much but for you J here it is....You were a man I always admired, looked up to and wished I had a father just like you. You were a protector, a giver, a warm smile even on darkest days. I will always cherish the countless stories you shared with me of the Air Force as it was such a passion to you and now to myself. I remember how as soon as I entered a room you would always make us smile and that little chesire grin of your's will always stay close to my heart...You will be so missed here on earth but I know you will keep watch over us and still protect us from heaven..Rest in Peace Angel xx
Love you always

We will always remember Jim with great fondess. We had the greatest admiration for Jim, he was always a joy to be around. He took great pleasure in making people smile. He loved his family as much as anyone could.
We will carry Jim's stories, poems and songs with us whenever we think of him and a smile on our faces. We promise we will always be his "Fruitcakes with raisins for eyes"
Our deepest condolences to Lorie, Dennis, Les and Val. Our hearts are with you now and always.

Jim was an amazing man, and exuded so much passion when telling his old Airborne stories. So much so, one time he broke a chair demonstrating jumping out of the plane. Someone as special as Jim will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts forever. Now, the angels rejoice as a good soul has finally made its way home! Janet and I send our love and prayers through this sad time. xoxox

Dear Lori and Dennis, Leslie and Valerie it is with great sadness we see that Jim has passed away.
We have such fond memories of the times we spent with your parents and what wonderful neighbors and friends they were. Their influence on our children was as great as any grand parents would have been. From visits to car rides for ice cream or the ever present Milk and Cookies the kids pet name for your Mom and Dad when they were very little.
The years I worked with your Dad at Millhaven, the times we spent working with the FCPO will never be forgotten.
Even though we drifted apart after your Moms passing we talk of them often during family get togethers.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this time of loss.
Barb, Larry, Stephen and Sonja.

Our heartfelt sympathies are sent to Lorie, Dennis, Les, Val and the extended family at this time of profound loss. May it be some comfort to know that Jim is now at peace with his beloved Lord and Saviour.
Uncle Jim was a much loved father, brother, brother in law, uncle, teacher, friend and confidante. He was an exceptional human being who oozed charisma, was diligent in everything he did and had a hard work ethos. His former active mind had many interests and hobbies which were pursued with vigour, stamina, open-mindedness and intelligence.
I was privileged to have spent almost three weeks with him and my cousins' in Napanee during October 2005. The memories from that holiday still touch both my heart and spirit while making me smile. In spite of his stature he was incredibly soft hearted and gentle with a wicked sense of humour. He had both a great love and knowledge of nature, his adopted country and enjoyed debating (passionately) many unrelated topics. These attributes made him an enjoyable force to be reckoned with!
Jim also had a long standing, deeply rooted Christian faith which gave his long life purpose and meaning. He wasn't just a once weekly-just-to-be-seen-'Christian'; rather he lived his beliefs through actions in a humble and non assuming way. Even in the latter years my sense is he never complained and bore his troubles with fortitude and gratitude.
Once more we extend out sympathy and love to the family he adored and was so proud of.
John (brother in law) and Ann Marie Moore (niece)
