Obituary of Yvonne Nellie Moore (nee Strickland)

Following a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Yvonne passed away at home in Amherstview on Friday, November 24, 2017, with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Don Moore for 61 wonderful years. Caring mother of Charlie Moore (Lori) of Kingston and Joanne Branco (Elton Ellis) of Westport. Predeceased by her son-in-law Peter Branco. Very proud grandmother of Ryan, Alex, Nicholas, Olivia, James (Sasha), Codie (Lauren), Ian and Eric (Yulia) and great grandmother of Porter, Lily, Alexi, Theo and Isabelle. Survived by her brothers Ernie (late Phyllis), Albert (Shirley), Stanley (Lois), David (Sandy) and Glenn and by her sisters Vera Haskin (Stan), Faye Clark (Robert) and Lois Strickland. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Legion Branch 631 (4034 Bath Road, Collins Bay) on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 12-4 p.m. Please bring your favourite memories to share.
