Nicest person I have ever known. You were always welcome at Aunt Jeans house and she always gave you a home cook meal and her genuine friendship.

We were sad, in a way, to hear the news of "Aunt" Jean's passing. Mostly, we feel that it is a blessing that she has gone to be with Earl and Helen and Ralph. It was time for her to go and it is what she would have wanted. Her baby son has waited a lot of years - their reunion would be something to treasure. We wish her a safe journey and God speed.

As a relative newcomer to her life I found "Aunt Jean" to be a loving and intelligent lady in every way. While she suffered the early loss of her own child Jeffery; she and her pre-deceased loving husband Earl showered their love and support on all family members, friends and neighbours and newcomers alike. Jean was a very Christian and faithful lady who supported her Church in every way. "Aunt Jean" will be missed by everyone who knew her and felt angst at her recent decline from dementia. I believe she is now re-united with a clear mind, to her pre-deceased love ones in a Heaven she had no doubts about. RIP.

I met Jean at Helen Henderson when my mom was in the retirement home. She was a very sweet woman. We had some visits when she was still able. We met again in the nursing home section.
I was really sad to see her going down.
Your family must have great memories of the loving person she was.

Jean was a wonderful, kind lady, with a heart bigger than she was. We have missed her as a neighbour and loved her like family. Jean was a true Christian. Our sympathy to Marjorie, Neilson and her many nieces and nephews.

I am sorry for your loss.
When I lived on the island this woman was just a joy to run into. Often we would be at the post office together. She came to my shows ( and everyone else's shows) Loved her presence, her kind nature and her sweet way.
My deepest condolences.
