Obituary of Jim Hammond

Jim passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre with loving family at his side on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at age 81. Beloved husband of Gayle (nee O’Neil) for 56 years. Cherished father of Brenda Fergus (George), Tim Hammond (Anna), Tracy Barrett (Bruce) and the late Stephen Hammond (Kim). Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ruby Grant (late Ernie), Rose Bowie (Bob) and the late Kay Murray (Jim). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Sunday, March 18th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service at Odessa Free Methodist Church (78 Main St., Odessa) on Monday, March 19th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
