Celia, Kris, Peter, Walter, Fred, Kathy, Marina and families.
It is hard to believe that more than 40 years have passed since, John and I were classmates at SHS. I remember his good sense of humour, smile and gentle demeanour.
I was very sad, when Celia told me the news of John's recent illness and now of his passing.

Celia, Kris, Peter, Walter, Fred, Kathy and Marina.
John and I attended Sydenham High School, it is hard to believe that, that was more than 40 years ago. I was sad when Celia told me of John's illness and recent passing.
As you celebrate John's life, may you hold each other and your memories close.

Dear John,
You are such an amazing person to all of us. You and Debbie made us feel welcome from the fist day we met you at your home, we have always appreciated that warm and welcome feeling. Our boys were so lucky to grow up with you in their lives and you were always there for them, like they were your own. They will miss you so much! Sammie will miss talking to you and being with his 'Big Buddy'.
Your love for your Debbie has been so beautiful and set an example for many people, including us. Your bond with her has always been so significant and it was obvious you were soul mates. She will miss you tremendously. We made a promise to 'look after' her and we will!

Lieve debby, hoe moeilijk is dit, zo neem je in januari afscheid,jullie vol met plannen en zeg je tot ziens! Het kan zo vlug anders gaan, John was een grote lieve man, was even oma,s wolfje de gezelligheid waar hij zo van hield, ik kan ook aan hem denken met een heel fijn gevoel.
Debby ik wil jou alle sterkte en kracht geven om door te gaan, met heel fijne mensen om je heen.
Jammer dat de afstand zo ver is ,maar weet dat ik 30 mei in gedachten bij jullie zal zijn.
