Here remembering Lionel, who somehow always seemed to be the same young man I first met when my sister Robin set her heart on him in their twenties. Although their marriage didn't last, they continued to care for each other, their new partners, and their family together in an admirably happy and convivial fashion.
Lionel was always a wonderful host..and guest..whose welcoming jokes and huge laugh we enjoyed only a few years ago at his and Heather's house - a baby shower for his beloved Gen and his first grandchild. Lionel, you leave loving memories to your dear family - that family who we have the grace to continue to love and enjoy. Bon voyage and you will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Heather, Genevieve, Alex and Robin. Like my dear wife Louise, I am deeply affected by the sudden death of Lionel. He was a great man with a great mind, great spirit and a love for life that radiated. His contagious laugh and good humour leaves us with great memories that we will always cherish. He will be enormously missed by all who knew him.

Sincere condolences to Heather, Alex, Genevieve, Robin, my mom Louise, my dad Jean Claude and all the Comolli family and friends. Lionel was the coolest uncle of all. Since I can remember, my uncle Lionel was fun, generous, an entrepreneur at heart, always full of ideas, plans and dreams. At 15 years old, he helped and supported me through the passing of Francois, my grandfather - his dad, even though it must have been much harder for him. Even if Lionel left too early and too fast, he deserved a peaceful and painless passing. I wish that he can rest in peace and in another place, continue to have fun and joy. I am thankful to have known this great uncle.

Marie, Oliver and I send all our condolences to Heather, Genevieve, Alex, the grandchildren, all the Comolli kin and to my much loved sister Robin Comolli over this shockingly sudden departure from our mortal coil of a dear, dear man.
I am Robin's younger brother and first met Lionel through Robin when they were courting prior to their marriage. Lionel was the very hip bar man at the very hip Boiler Room bar on Montreal's Crescent Street and I loved his style and manner from the get go. He was always kind to and ready to engage with me and even gave me a job as a waiter at the spaghetti restaurant he started on St. Paul Street in old Montreal. I was the worst waiter in the world and fired myself after my first shift. Generous, funny, bright , handsome and fun. He will be missed by so many.

I have known Lionel for quite a few years and always liked to see him and Heather when they came to my chip truck in Picton. Lionel always had a smile on his face and seemed very happy in life.
